Control the order in which process maps are listed
The ‘Element Properties’ window for each ‘Model’ element and ‘Process Map’ element has a ‘Print Sequencing’ tab. Within the ‘Element Properties’ window, the ‘Print Sequencing’ tab allows you to control the order in which your Model’s process maps are listed in the ‘Explorer Tree’ and in your published documentation. ELEMENT PROPERTIES WINDOW The easiest way to view the ‘Element Properties’ for a Process Model is to double-click on the appropriate Process Model in the ‘Explorer Tree’. The following screenshot is from the ‘Synthis Warehousing Example’ process model. Pictured below is the ‘Element Properties’ window for the root ‘Business Management System’ node in the ‘Explorer Tree’.

PRINT SEQUENCING TAB To change the sequence in which your Process Maps are listed:- Open the ‘Element Properties’ for your Model (the first entry in your ‘Explorer Tree’).
- Click on the ‘Print Sequencing’ tab. This will show you a list of all of the Process Maps that exist in your selected model.
- To change the sequence, click on a process map row, then click on the ‘Move Up’ or ‘Move Down’ buttons as appropriate.
Control the sequence in which a process map’s elements are listed
The ‘Element Properties’ window for each ‘Process Map’ element also has a ‘Print Sequencing’ tab. Within the ‘Element Properties’ window, the ‘Print Sequencing’ tab allows you to control the order in which the Elements for a given Process Map are listed in your published documentation. You can also right-click on a ‘Process Map’ element and select the ‘Edit’ option. The following screenshot is from the ‘Synthis Warehousing Example’ process model. Pictured below is the ‘Element Properties’ window for the ‘Quality Management System’ process map in the ‘Explorer Tree’.

PRINT SEQUENCING TAB To change the sequence of the Elements (activities, decisions, etc.) for a given Process Map:- Open the ‘Element Properties’ for your Process Map.
- Click in the ‘Print Sequencing’ tab (the right-most tab at the bottom of the ‘Element Properties’ window).
- To change the sequence, click on a process map row, then click on the ‘Move Up’ or ‘Move Down’ buttons as appropriate.

The following screenshot shows the Table of Contents of the published ‘Process Narrative’ for the ‘Inbound Receiving’ process map. Note that the sequence of the Table of Contents pictured below matches the sequence in which the Elements are listed in the ‘Print Sequencing’ tab.
