Unlike many other Process Modeling tools on the market, the Synthis Process Modeler lets you capture detailed information about each shape you place on a diagram. So while you can put a novel’s worth of text on your diagram, that does not mean that you should. The simplest example, from the title of this section, is to use the Comment area on an Element’s Properties Editor to describe what is going on in this particular step. If you find yourself describing the actions of a step in the steps name or putting extended comments visually on the diagram, stop and rethink. There is probably a more appropriate way to capture the detail you want. Following this guideline ensures that your intuitive diagram is not cluttered with to much information and that the important details of the process can be generated into multiple document output formats.
