I was having problems with publishing the Process Website directly to my server space. It doesn't create a Diagrams and Elements folder like it usually does in the default output folder, and then it fails to launch the index.html because of this. Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong? Could it be backslashes, or security, or something to that effect? I don't really want to have to copy and paste all those elements into the server folder from my default.
Thanks,

I too had a problem publishing to a network drive, it didn't seem to be creating the files correctly...until I realised the output file path in Publishing Preferences is not a global one. I hadn't changed the output path to be used for the processed websites, rather I'd changed only first one on the list (for 'Controlled Document Details). If you've not been as silly as myself the only other thing I could think to suggest is perhaps try mapping the network location as a local drive, but this really shouldn't be required if you've set up the correct preferences.

Yeah, I did that at first as well, however now I have the "Process Website" one defined and it doesn't want to write to the folder. The only other thing I can think of is the security for the server I'm writing to doesn't want to write folders from a program. I guess I'll just have to continue copying and pasting the files from the default output folder into where I want them.
Thanks for the reply!

Server security would seem to be the problem. You could always have it create the folder on your desktop, then its very quick to find and copy over onto your server.

Yeah, I just made a shortcut to the folder to copy it over every once and awhile to test. I think I'll play around with it more once I'm completely done with the project, which will be awhile.
Thanks
