Did anyone have luck in getting the Process Modeller to run on linux? With Adalon 2.6 it worked like a charm (well nearly). But Adalon 3.6 and Process Modeller 3.6 are both distributed as windows executables.
I was not able to figure out how to deploy the application properly and get it to run. I usually get a "ClassNotFoundException".
With adalon2.6 all you needed was copy the included batch file and translate it into appropriate shell code. I also removed the reference to the JRE that is included with the package. Like this I could use my systems JRE (as it should be).
Before anyone tries to do the same, be warned: I don't beleive this is supported by synthis So keep a backup of all you data until you are really sure you are safe.
As said, I removed the references to the JRE that was part of adalon. This could lead to unexpected results!
But I'm digressing. Back to the original question:
Is it possible to run "Synthis Process Modeller" on Linux? As it's Java, it can't be that hard, can it?
