Modeler does not save to a network redirected My Documents folder

Process Modeler is not saving to my My Documents folder correctly.

My system is on a Windows 2003 domain with the My Documents folder redirected by a 'group policy' to a network share via a DFS publication.

Process Modeler picks up on the correct path (IE: \\domain\shares\users\neil\My Documents) when first creating the project or using Save As... and selecting the My Documents shortcut on the left of the Create Project dialog box; but the files are actually saved to the local hard disk; IE: \\domain\shares\users\neil\My Documents is changed to C:\domain\shares\users\neil\My Documents

I would prefer not to have to revert back to drive-letter mapped network drives to overcome the problem having spent quite some time eliminating them in the name of standards compliance; so suggestions of a solution (or a patch) would be greatly appreciated.
