Duplicate Nested Processes

I am trying to nest a process as an item on a graph, but it will only allow this action once. I have a process with two non-concurrent paths that both call a sub-process and have no way to document it. Please let me know if there is a work-around, or if this feature can be added so that I can use the tool.

(Was unable to attach example)

Thanks much!
-A1C Dillow

Re:Duplicate Nested Processes

In the current release, you can reuse the same element across multiple diagrams, but you cannot have multiple instances of the same element on the same diagram.

The easiest "workaround" for the scenario you described is to draw multiple links into the same target element (ie: have both concurrent paths point to the same sub-process).

Alternatively, you can model the two paths on two separate diagrams and point to the same target sub-process at the end of each path (on each of your two diagrams).

FYI - Allowing users to place multiple instances of the same element on the same diagram has been added to our list of future enhancements.

Thanks again for your feedback and please keep the suggestions coming!

Regards,

-Andy Ibbotson
Synthis Corporation
