A few Suggestions

It would be nice if:
-	Primary: There was an undo & redo function.
-	A way to put text straight into a diagram (Without using the note function) I tend to put the name of the process above my process and I need to put that in a note now.
-	I would like to have the reverse lookup on elements within the website output. ( I use allot of databases and would like to click there on an database and show people where that certain db is used and by who.)
-	About the website output, the top left shows the last seen diagrams, would have liked to have it show the dept I?m in. I make layered diagrams that go very deep, when doing an presentation I want to be able to jump back a few layers.
-	Would be nice if we could add an superior, of an owner, of an activity. If problems arise during the activity one would like to know who the owner should turn to.
In some instances it is also welcome to be capable of filling in an customer or client the activity is done for.
-	Would be nice to be able to turn of some of the toolbars. (I don`t use the text formatting toolbar and the fixed item stencils on the right and would be very happy with some extra space for my diagram.) An other option would be if we could drag the text formatting toolbar to an better place, like besides the other toolbar on top. I use an 19? screen and there are to rows of buttons now with an awful long grey bar at the end. Would be nice if I could change that to 1 row of buttons.
-	Would be nice if there was an option: when I make a new diagram within an diagram my project navigator makes an new folder with the name of the diagram. ( I tend to put the activities of an diagram in an folder with the name of that diagram, and the same for tasks, decisions? etc)
-	There is an rater big grey bar on the bottom of the application that has no function.
-	Would be nice to be able to see 2 diagrams at the same time(Cascade), instead of always tabbed, this way I could drag and drop elements from one to another.

And last:
What is the ?Download Manager? about?

Thank you for this already fantastic piece of software!

PS. You could warn people that there account activation ends up in there junk folder when they use hotmail.

Re:A few Suggestions

Thanks for all of the feedback! There are a lot of good suggestions in there. We are working hard on 4.0 which will be a major upgrade to 3.6 and you will see a lot of these features in there.

A few of them we address already...

Text on diagrams - using the text tool on the toolbar, you can add text the diagram withoug using node. Click the "A" button on the toolbar and then click and drag on the diagram to create your text area. Then click in it and start typing away. You can also add text inside of a rectangle or oval shape by tripple clicking to initiate text eiting.

Reverse Lookup - under the View menu you will find options for "View Related Elements" and "View Reverse Lookup". When you select an element on the diagram the corosponding trees/panels will update to show related and reverse related elements.

Finally, the Download Manager lets you view/cancel/restart file uploads and downloads from our Process Server Repository. The Repository is a web based document management system that allows you publish you documentation, share project files etc. We sell it directly and offer a hosted version as well.

Thanks again for the suggestions! Your feedback helps make the Process Modeler even better.

Re:A few Suggestions

Thanks for the information, looking forward to version 4.0

I overlooked the text button, my mistake.
About the reverse lookup, i mend that i would have liked to have that within the process website output.
When i use a website output and i have a database in the diagram i can`t see who`s using it and what activities are related with it. I use the website output for presentations and I would like to show: who`s related to an db or document and what activities use them.
Hope i`m clearer now, if not please let me know, as you would have guessed, English isn`t my native language.

Edit:
It would also be nice If we could draw a polygon or make from multiple rectangles one rectangle. It is possible to group them but the line around them still separates them.
Note:
When i edit an message in this forum some of the characters turn into questionmarks. (` turns into ?)

Regards,

Jochem
