Process Flow Document doesn't Flow.

It would be great if we could set flow number for every element within a diagram.
Next thing would be that the Process Flow Document uses these numbers for setting up the document.
When I create this document it groups elements by diagram, this is great. But the next thing it does is document every element in diagram in the order they where created. This way the Flow document doesn?t flow its all mixed up.
By using these flow numbers for creating the document, the document can be used for process procedure.

This would be great!

Re:Process Flow Document doesn't Flow.

Thanks very much for your post. In Version 3.7, it was easy to control element sequencing for any given process map using the "Print Sequencing" tab (the right-most tab on the process map's Element Properties editor). However, the process maps themselves were, by default, sequenced alphabetically and according to the folder structure defined in the Navigator tree.

The only other way to sequence the process maps was by using a custom macro plugin.

In version 4.0, we have added a "Print Sequencing" tab to the root model element that makes it easy for users to control the sequence in which process maps are listed in the tree and in all published documentation.

If you would like to check out version 4.0, a "preview release" is now available at: http://www.synthis.com/downloads.

Best regards,

-Andy Ibbotson
Synthis Corporation
